Wilson Pointe Senior Apartments
The NRP Group, a national, multifamily development and management firm, and ABCD, Inc., a local community development corporation, have completed the Wilson Pointe project in downtown Canton. Wilson Pointe Senior Apartment Homes, reserved for those “55 or better” are open and 12 of the 40 independent senior living units have been leased to date.
The apartment homes, located at 515 Fifth St. NW, are available in one and two bedroom luxury units. Picciano’s Martini Bar
One part new-age speak easy, one part luxe Moroccan hangout, Picciano’s is set to open “very soon,” according to owner and manager Dina Tozzi. Framework for the small, but flowing space is up and drywall work has begun. Tozzi is in the process of managing the build-out while picking out the lavish touches that will define the intimate bar, including tin and copper-punched decorative accents, velvety curtains and an intricate Moroccan lantern.
Picciano’s light and breezy menu, featuring a specialty soup, salad and sandwich combo for Friday lunch, is sure to compliment the simple gathering place. Tozzi is confident that her patrons will enjoy the warm atmosphere and cozy space in the heart of downtown.
