Stark County Safety Council and the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will honor area companies who are committed to maintaining a safe workplace during the 2009 Safety Awards Banquet on Wednesday, May 13, at the University Center at Kent State Stark.
Rick McQueen, president and CEO for the Akron-Canton Airport, will be the evening’s keynote speaker.You’ll learn how Akron-Canton Airport is not only one of the fastest growing airports in the country, but also has the lowest average fare in the state of Ohio.
Also during the evening, certificates from the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Division of Safety and Hygiene will be awarded to qualifying companies.
