Help PROJECT REBUILD celebrate 10 years at the MAY BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

Head out to Business After Hours on May 14 to help Project REBUILD celebrate 10 years of community outreach. The event will be held at the Project REBUILD offices and training center near downtown Canton. Project REBUILD will show off their green-build prowess and Chamber members will tour the Century Home, a model of neighborhood revitalization efforts, once condemned and slated for demolition and recently renovated by at-risk community youth. You’ll be amazed by the work that Project REBUILD is doing and have lots of fun along the way with corn-hole games built by construction trade students.

Project REBUILD re-engages at-risk youth through innovative educational approaches,a construction trades training program and job placement opportunities. The organization’s efforts have helped to rehabilitate neighborhoods, create new housing stock for low and moderate-income families and provide opportunities for youth to become responsible, contributing members of our community.

Be the first to experience a trailermounted solar power station vehicle used for education, outreach and for construction sites – to be unveiled at the event! Demonstrations will be available while you enjoy your “solar slam” beverages and other solar-powered goodies.
