The winter thaw brings a plethora of new activity, and the Canton Farmers’ Market is no exception. Farmers are already out working their land to bring you the freshest, most delicious local produce available. The market is set to open its sixth year on June 19 and run from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in the lot at Cleveland Ave. N between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The market will run every Saturday, rain or shine, through October 19.
The 2009 market will be our strongest yet, with several new vendors and activities to start your summer Saturday mornings off right. The market has space for new produce vendors as well as limited space for cottage industry and artist vendors. Spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis – don’t miss the opportunity to join this bountiful downtown market!
