Nominate Stark County’s BEST YOUNG PROFESSIONALS

ystark! twenty under 40 to celebrate incredible young talent

The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the second annual TWENTY UNDER 40, an award recognizing the best young professionals in Stark County. The awards recognize 20 current young leaders who are actively making a positive impact in the county.

“Who are we looking for? The young professionals worthy of this award are the ones actively working to make Stark County a destination for young professionals to live, work and play,” said Aimee Belden, director of ystark!. “The nominations for our initial year were overwhelming, it’s hard to believe the sheer volume of talent we have here.”

Eligible “young professionals” are between 20 and 40 years old, and span all career industries. Full eligibility information and details on the nomination process are available at www.ystark.org. Winners of the 2009 award will be toasted at an eclectic gala this summer.

“The support and utter excitement that surrounded last year’s event was incredible,” said Mark Butterworth, this year’s event chairman and an inaugural-year award recipient. “It’s a delight to be able to acknowledge the stellar young talent in Stark County.”

The recognition of these deserving area young professionals is made possible through ystark! and The Repository, in conjunction with Aultman Health Foundation, Black McCuskey Souers & Arbaugh, LPA, Diebold Inc., Huntington National Bank and The Timken Company.

Nominations are being accepted now through Feb. 8. Applications and an online-form are available at www.ystark.org.
